Frequently Asked Questions

ISSR - Initial Supplier Sample Report

What is an ISSR?
ISSR stands for Initial Supplier Sample Report. A report that is generated by the supplier that verifies the parts meet all the Isuzu Approved Drawing requirements. (More commonly known to most suppliers as PPAP).

Can I use PPAP submissions in place of ISSR?
Generally, yes, but contact ICTA Quality prior to submission.

When do I need to submit an ISSR?
An ISSR is required before any part is used on a saleable, production vehicle produced by Isuzu. Suppliers are required to submit a new ISSR each time a part number changes. Exceptions are handled case-by-case by the ICTA quality department.
